‘I Survived Chili Week’ blazes through campus

Christine Aye, left, 22, junior of Yangon, Burma, eats Malaysian chili during the ninth annual “I Survived Chili Week” event in the Student Center cafeteria Wednesday.

“Chili Week” had an international theme in honor of the Winter Olympics this year. Participants were treated to Russian, Cuban, and Malaysian chili already. Today, Italian chili will be served, and American chili closes out the event Friday.
