Dr. Matthew Evertson, associate professor of English, discusses a passage from Henry David Thoreau’s “Walden” during the English department’s “Spring Read” Sunday afternoon. About a dozen people attended the Read which took place at The Cliffs, an outdoor recreation area southeast of Chadron.
The senior art show, entitled “Seven Artists, One Show,” opened March 30 and is currently on view in the Main Gallery at Memorial Hall.
“Lost Autumn” is set to perform April 9 during Spring Days. The band out of Rapid City, S.D., was recruited by RLA and the Student Center Pit.

Solid rides from rough stock riders landed the men’s Chadron State rodeo team third out of ten teams at the Eastern Wyoming College rodeo in Torrington last weekend.
The Chadron State College track team was at Colorado State University in Pueblo, Colo., for the CSU-Pueblo Open held Saturday.
Easter is a religious holiday, so Chadron State is calling the upcoming three-day weekend a “Spring Break.”
