International Club reception set in Kline

The International Club is hosting a graduation reception for graduating international students May 9 after the graduation ceremony.

The reception is being organized by Frances Gonzalez, tutorial services counselor and sponsor of the International Club.

College media is descending on Chadron this weekend, as The Eagle will host the 2015 Nebraska Collegiate Media Association conference and Golden Leaf Awards.


Closer to Home soup kitchen in need of volunteers

The local soup kitchen, Closer to Home is in need of volunteers or groups of volunteers. Groups are counted as 3-4 people.
The kitchen is located at the Masonic Temple and is open weekdays from 11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
Volunteers are expected to provide a meal for about 15- 25 people.


Rodney Atkins to perform at CSC

Country Artist Rodney Atkins will come to Chadron State College at 7 p.m., April 24 as the final installment of the Galaxy Series. The concert will be in the NPAC.
