To raise money for their sport at CSC, the women’s rugby team organized a car wash Sunday in the vacant lot on the corner of Highway 385 and Third Street.

About 20 people attended Tuesday night’s “Pumpkin Possibilities” event. The event was sponsored by Residence Life Association and hosted in Edna Hall.

The Chadron State volleyball team lost to the University of Nebraska-Kearney Tuesday night. The team did very little against the Kearney defense that pulled 76 digs in just four sets. 

The Eagle golf team came in last place for the fall season’s last tournament in Kearney Monday and Tuesday.
The team shot 747 strokes over the two day span. This score is 171 strokes over par.

For nearly six months, Andrew Shirvell, Michigan assistant attorney general, has waged an internet war against Chris Armstrong, the first openly gay student assembly president at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

Four groups of students in the MKTG 231 – Principles of Marketing class will be competing for student’s dollars 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the Student Center.

The Residence Life Association has placed marked containers at the front desk in every dorm and in the Student Center to collect pink lids from containers of Yoplait yogurt.

The city of Chadron will recognize Chadron State College’s centennial year with a proclamation signing this Saturday.

CSC Art Guild will host “A Pocket Full of Sunshine for our Troops” 7 p.m. Friday, in the Student Center Scottsbluff Room.

Clubs received packets for homecoming Tuesday. The packets include vital information about homecoming, including applications, registration details, and deadlines for various events.
