The storied Chadron State College vs. University of Nebraska- Kearney rivalry ended Saturday on an appropriately competitive note. The seemingly outmatched Eagles fought a tough battle against the undefeated Lopers.

The Turtle Island Quartet, a string quartet which specializes in chamber music, will be coming to Chadron on Oct. 18 as the second installment of the Galaxy Series.

The CSC Eagles squared off against the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets Tuesday in The Donald E. Young Center in Spearfish, S.D. Coming off a string of losses, the Eagles were in desperate need of a win.

Last week on Florida’s WESH 2 President Barack Obama said, “[America] is a great, great country that had gotten a little soft… We need to get back on track.” We are very soft, and if we want to get out of our rut we have to accept sacrificing our easy lifestyle and get back to work.
