Three talented choral conglomerates graced the Chadron Arts Center this past Sunday, Nov. 6th, at 3pm. Conducted by Dr. Joel Scheuder and Dr. Una Taylor, the trifecta consists of the CSC Men’s Ensemble, Arioso (the woman’s ensemble), and the Concert Choir.

The Campus Activities Board allocated money for “Bongo Ball” and expressed disinterest in the Reta E. King Library renovations.
Samantha Evans, treasurer, said the CAB account contains $6,450.

Treasurer T.J. Thomson said there is $12,805 in unallocated funds.

‘Ornery Times’ take the road to college

Don Holst, 81, of Chadron, was born during the Great Depression and grew up during World War II. Of his birth and upbringing, Holst said, “I was conceived the day the stock market fell. So I was off to a good start. When I got a little older, we had a world war. It was ornery times.”
