Bruce Hoem, associate professor of Counseling, Psychology & Social Work is set to deliver a presentation titled, “Vietnam – Stories of a Time Near and Far,” as part of the 2011-12 Dorset Graves Lecture Series. Hoem will be speaking 7 p.m., Tuesday in King Library  #108.

No forum last week

Every other Thursday, Senate’s Constitutional Committee has been hosting open forums to hear students’ opinions on the constitution. There was no attendance at last week’s meeting so the next open forum will be at 4 p.m. March 31.


NE tornado drill today

A statewide tornado drill will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. today.  March 21-25 was designated as Severe Weather Awareness week for Nebraska. The Chadron Police Department 911 Center will alert Chadron and surrounding areas and there will be a steady 3 minute siren blast.
