Senate reminds students of Spring Daze schedule

Hurley announced a detailed schedule of events for Spring Daze at the open forum Thursday in the Student Center.
There will be a petting zoo from 3-5 p.m. Friday, April 21. At 5 p.m. the CSC Dining Services will attempt to build the world’s longest taco line in the Chicoine Events Center at the Construct the Line event. Various other activities will be going on throughout the day, including club booths and a carnival. The evening’s activities will end with a Mr. and Ms. CSC pageant in the Student Center Ballroom.
Saturday, April 22, will begin with the Spring Game and the Big Event. There will also be a barbecue and the Maddie and Tae Galaxy Series concert.
At 1 p.m. Sunday, April 23, there will be a pool party at the Chadron Area Aquatics Center and at 7:00 p.m., there will be a Free Movie Night at the Geju-Eagle Theater.
Campus improvements, such as adding color printers in certain dormitories and the addition of new chairs, were also discussed. Senate will discuss water bottle filling stations and the purchase of new whiteboards for the Math and Science building next week.
Hurley also announced that “Survivor Nicaragua” contestant Holly Hoffman has been approved as a guest speaker for next year.
