Band Club requests funds for career development
Aydin Mack, junior of Alliance, president of the Band Club requested a one time expense of $450 for the purchase of a series of entrepreneurial online courses for the Music Department.
Club representatives voted and overall, the motion to approve the $450 was passed. $167,669.52 of the budget for all of the clubs combined is left unspent for this semester.
CAB Chair Kimberly Hernandez, junior of Scottsbluff, stressed at this week’s meeting the upcoming events, “Dine With Us” and free movie nights, as well as the need for senators in Edna Hall, High Rise, Eagle Ridge, BEAMSS, Liberal Arts and At Large. Applications are available in the senate office.
“Dine With Us” is an international lunch hosted by CSC International Students, featuring student Yen Nguyen from Vietnam. “Dine With Us” will be held Thursday, at noon in the Student Center.
Sunday, Jan. 28 is the first free movie night of the semester at the Eagle Theatre. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the movies playing will be “The Commuter”, “Hostiles”, and “The Maze Runner: The Death Cure”. The free movie night dates for the rest of the spring semester are Feb. 18, March 18 and April 15.
