The Struggle is Real: Struggling to say good-bye

Man, the struggle is real…
It is time to leave CSC.
I started my college career at Chadron State on New Student Orientation day Aug. 15, 2013. I attended my first class on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, sat through my first newspaper meeting Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, and my first story was published Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013. My byline featured the title sports editor in the Aug. 29, 2013, edition of The Eagle.

The Struggle is Real: The long-distance struggle

Man, the struggle is real…

My boyfriend and I met in March 2015 and spent little time together before leaving for the summer; we stayed in touch that summer but rarely saw each other. The next August, when we got back to school, we started dating. He graduated at the end of that semester. He stayed around Chadron for a few months, working here, but then he took a job four hours away from CSC, where he is now.

The Struggle is Real: The self-respect struggle

Man, the struggle is real…

It’s a real struggle to be a girl.

Now before you put this paper down because this is going to be one of those articles about girls whining about how weak we are and how our lives are so rough, give me a chance to explain.
