CAB’s new executive board was sworn in at the last meeting of the school year on Tuesday.

The Campus Activities Board elected executive board officers for the 2012-2013 school year at its meeting Tuesday.

The Campus Activities Board allocated money for free movie and bowling nights, and nominated candidates for its executive board positions Tuesday.

Members of the Campus Activities Board approved changes to their constitution and discussed next year’s Galaxy Series events at their meeting Tuesday.

Members of CAB voted on and approved changes to the CAB constitution that will reduce the number of officers on the executive board and change the nature of the meetings. Luke Wright, president, said the changes will reduce the number of executive officers to four positions.

Shellie Johns, conferencing coordinator, passed out a survey, so club representatives could vote for the specialty event for next year’s Galaxy Series Events. The acts on the survey were the Tap Dogs, Keith Anderson, Jared Rogerson, and Billy Gilman. Johns said that with some of these acts, their availability depends on whether she can get the stage equipment and sound equipment, which come from Florida.

CAB members discussed the time capsule and Galaxy Series events at the meeting, Tuesday.

CAB members allocated money for three upcoming events during their meeting Tuesday. The CAB account contained $15,470 prior to the allocations, according to Treasurer Samantha Evans

The CAB members elected a vice president and allocated money for two campus events at their meeting on Tuesday.

The members of the Campus Activities Board started their first meeting of the spring semester by choosing nominees for the vice president position and voting to decrease the frequency of their weekly meetings.

Nov. 29 was the last CAB meeting of the semester. CAB will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
