Voting for Homecoming royalty concluded Wednesday, Sept. 20th, with the announcement of Homecoming royalty coming at halftime of the football game. Coronation of the top five candidates was Wednesday and they are required to dress formally for the football game. Bedsheet voting closed Wednesday Sept. 20th and winners of the bedsheet contest will be responsible for putting their bedsheets up at the Homecoming football game, and taking them down after the game.
The AFB, Activities Fee Board, needs another member to complete this year’s committee. Last year, AFB allocated roughly $204,000 to fund clubs on campus, with $60,000 not spent. Vice Chair of Finance, Tierra Snyder, stressed that this money needs to be spent, or will not be allocated the next year.
The AFB, Activity Fee Board, needs two members to complete this year’s committee. AFB is responsible for allotting the money that students pay each year in activity fees to fund many of the clubs on campus.

This week’s Campus Activities Board Meeting kicked off with a warm welcome from CAB Chair Trista Schell, Tuesday. With Homecoming right around the corner, Justice of the Constitutional Court Sam Merrill informed the present club representatives that club nominations are due no later than noon, Sept. 11.
Senate President Katrina Hurley hosted the last open forum of her reign, at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 20, in the Student Center. Sen. Carly Slaght ran uncontested for the position, and will take over for Hurley next year.
CAB representatives discussed various prompts brought from a school-wide survey after executive board members announced Spring Daze and Free Movie Night information.
