The Chadron State women’s volleyball team struggled last Friday and Saturday night in their home openers, losing to the Mountain Lions of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, in straight sets Friday night before losing in four sets to the Metro State University of Denver Roadrunners Saturday.
CSC’s Cody Trump won the saddle bronc riding to take an early lead in CRMC standings.
The Chadron State College volleyball team brought their season record to 3-5 last weekend, after winning one of their four games at the Towneplace Suites Invitational in Joplin, Missouri.

The Eagles golf team made a huge turnaround for themselves at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Fall Tournament in Lakewood, Colorado. They scored 386-364-750 for their team Monday and Tuesday. The team improved their score by 22 strokes from day 1 of the tournament to day 2. The Chadron State women’s golf team finished 14th overall in the tournament.
Despite an impressive aerial assault against the top team in the RMAC, the CSC football team came up short against Colorado Mesa University, Grand Junction, 24-10 Saturday, at Elliott Field.
Men’s and Women’s teams win Chadron State Invitational
The predominantly freshmen led golf team faced tough challenges for the first tournament of the season. CSC women’s golf team finished last place in the Samuel Proal Invitational at Pueblo, Colorado. The team stepped away from the tournament with more experience and knowing what they need to work on.
