Chadron State’s women’s basketball team has played two exhibition games to start of the 2012-13 season. The first was against Bringham Young University, played last Thursday, when the Eagles lost 89-51.

With the mats dusted off, Chadron State’s wrestlers prepare for the 2012 season. After multiple weeks of practicing, the wrestlers are ready to start the season with their annual Red and White dual held in the NPAC at 6 p.m. today.

Chadron State’s volleyball team played double games in Denver this weekend. On Friday, they squared off against Colorado School of Mines and came up short when the number 16 team swept them 25-14, 25-18, 25-16.

Chadron State’s cross country team competed in their first RMAC Championship on Saturday in Colorado Springs at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. For it being their first season as a DII team, Head Coach Ryan Baily was quite impressed.

The Eagles volleyball team traveled more than 40 hours this past weekend to play the Western New Mexico Mustangs and the New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls. Being in a bus for that long wasn’t the way most athletes would want to spend their fall break, but was worth it in the end.
