CSC’s offensive onslaught in their first game, Saturday, began in the third inning. With the bases loaded and no outs in the bottom of the third inning, CSC’s Kayla Michel, senior of Brighton, Colorado, hit a grand slam against Dixie State pitcher Cambrie Hazel, sophomore of Spanish Fork, Utah, to give the Eagles a 6-4 lead. Top-ranked RMAC opponent Colorado Mesa showed why they lead the conference this weekend, sweeping the Eagles in four games during CSC’s home debut. Saturday the Eagles lost 6-0 and 12-7 to the Mavericks, and Sunday they were defeated 16-4 and 5-6.Read More
Chadron State’s home games scheduled for this past weekend were wisely moved to Colorado State University-Pueblo to avoid the games being cancelled by Winter Storm Ulmer, but the cold seemed to follow the Eagles offense which averaged just 2.75 runs per game.Read More

Another week of softball, and another re-scheduled game. This time, the Eagles hosted visiting RMAC opponent, Colorado School of Mines, on Sunday and Monday (games originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday).Read More
Due to snowy conditions, one Thursday and one Friday afternoon game was canceled against the Colorado Christian Cougars, who are ranked second in the RMAC.
On Saturday, the weather was good enough to be played and the Cougars came away with two wins against the Eagles.
