Even though they were miles apart, the Chadron State College track athletes finished well as a whole. Eagles participants succeeded in both the Rock and Jock Open in Spearfish, S.D. and the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa.

Last Thursday, the Chadron State track and field team got together for the Cardinal and White intrasquad meet. White snatched a win from Cardinal by a score of 378 to 326.

On Aug. 24, the NSCS Board of Trustees approved the new program at a meeting in Nebraska City. Baily said that the Board would meet again in the coming weeks to finalize elements of CSC’s newest competitive sport. Head Track and Field coach Ryan Baily called the program the missing piece of the puzzle.
