Track team splits for Iowa and Spearfish meets

Even though they were miles apart, the Chadron State College track athletes finished well as a whole. Eagles participants succeeded in both the Rock and Jock Open in Spearfish, S.D. and the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa.

White team clinches intrasquad win

Last Thursday, the Chadron State track and field team got together for the Cardinal and White intrasquad meet. White snatched a win from Cardinal by a score of 378 to 326.

CSC cross country program crosses finish line

On Aug. 24, the NSCS Board of Trustees approved the new program at a meeting in Nebraska City. Baily said that the Board would meet again in the coming weeks to finalize elements of CSC’s newest competitive sport. Head Track and Field coach Ryan Baily called the program the missing piece of the puzzle.

Cross country treks across obstacles

At its Wednesday meeting, the NSCS Board of Trustees voted to approve the addition of a of a Division II NCAA men’s and women’s cross country program to Chadron State’s athletic offerings.

Despite cold and rainy weather, Chadron State’s men’s 4×100-meter relay team won their event and several other athletes placed well at the Jack Christiansen Invitational at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo., Saturday.
