Upcoming club events occupy CAB
The Campus Activities Board covered a wide range of campus events in Tuesday night’s meeting.
- CAB President Matt Coe reported for Treasurer Christine Aye, who was absent. There is currently $9,342 in the treasury. “All the money for this semester came in,” Coe said. “Last week’s treasurer’s report was still last semester’s money.”
- Coe said he wants clubs to tell him what they would like to change about the way CAB and the clubs relate.
- Vice-President Jamie Benson announced that every club must join a committee within CAB.
- Cardinal Key is hosting a Blood Drive from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Feb. 11 in the Student Center. Call (303) 931-8976 to reserve a time.
- Erin Hanson, senior, presented “Be a Hero for Haiti,” an event occurring 8:30 – 11 p.m. Saturday in the Student Center Ballroom. The intent is to raise funds for Red Cross.
“We’re really hoping this fund raiser will be a huge success,” Hanson said. “There will be live music and free food. It should be a really great thing for CSC.” - The International Club representative mentioned the International Food Tasting Party slated for 5:30 p.m. Feb. 6 in the Gold Room. Tickets can be purchased from any International Club member.
