Cheer team calls for new members

The CSC Cheer Team will have tryouts noon – 3:00 p.m. April 17 at the Nelson Physical Activity Center in the upper level dance room. The dress code for tryouts are black athletic shorts, a T-shirt, and white tennis shoes.

Interested students are required to have cheer experience at the high school or college level, must be a full-time CSC student for 2010/2011, maintain a GPA of a 2.0, and bring in a picture of themselves.

Successful applicants will cheer for all home and away football games and for all men’s and women’s basketball games.

“I am looking for girls with previous cheer experience, a great attitude, and enthusiasm,” said cheer coach Ann Hansen.
