NSCS gives approval to demolish Kline
The Nebraska State College System Board of Trustees voted unanimously last Friday to authorize the demolition of Kline.
The portion of Kline that is still standing, the northern half, was built in 1966. Construction of the southern half was completed in 1961.
The southern half of the building was closed in 1979 and later torn down due to structural problems.
The remaining half of the building also suffers from structural problems and has high maintenance costs.
