CAB makes executive board nominations
Nominations for the 2010 – 2011 CAB executive board were the main topic at Tuesday’s Campus Activities Board meeting.
- There are two nominations for president and vice-president. The first pair is Christine Aye, sophomore of Burma, and Kyle Klammer, sophomore of Ainsworth. The second pair is James Bahensky, sophomore of Anselmo, and Lindsey Wilson, freshman of Mullen.
- Adam Neumann, freshman of Fort Calhoun, and Kelsey Amos, sophomore of Chadron, where nominated for the position of secretary.
- Luke Wright, senior of Waunita, was nominated for treasurer.
- Jon Marquez, sophomore of Alliance, was nominated for publicity coordinator.
- Nominations for special and cultural events are Jazzlynn Seumalo, sophomore of Bremerton, Wash., and Whitten Hoover, sophomore of Ainsworth.
- Katrina Mundt, junior of Chadron, was the sole nomination for student events.
- Christine Aye, CAB treasurer, announced that there is $2,443 in the CAB treasury.
- CAB President Matt Coe, senior of Grand Island, reported that he created a Facebook event publicizing Spring Days. He said the event can be found by going to his profile.
- Dalton Nelsen, sophomore of Callaway, special and cultural events, said that there will be a clean-up of Whiteclay April 22 – 25. Workers are wanted for April 24, which is “People Day,” as stated on the Web site www.whiteclayredux.com.
- The Men’s and Women’s Ensembles are set to perform at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Chicoine Atrium. MTNA representative Sergio Reyes, junior of Penn Yan, N.Y., said, “It will be all vocal music, but there’s a good variety.”
