Year-end picnic set for social work seniors

The Chadron State College Social Work Club is having an end-of-the-year picnic celebration at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chadron State Park.

“The picnic is a celebration to get together at the end of the school year and is for the graduating seniors of the social work club,” Bruce Hoem, associate professor of social work, said.

The picnic will include a BBQ, potluck, and a special celebration for the graduating social work club seniors.

All family and friends of the social work club members are invited to the event and encouraged to bring a side dish.

“This special getting together will be the first annual social work club picnic celebration held by Chadron State College for the social work club seniors,” Hoem said.
