CSC Art Guild presents ‘A Pocket Full of Sunshine for our Troops’

CSC Art Guild will host “A Pocket Full of Sunshine for our Troops” 7 p.m. Friday, in the Student Center Scottsbluff Room.

The event will consist of decorating and filling jean pockets with gift items.

The pockets will be put into care packages and sent to U.S. troops stationed overseas.

CSC Art Guild requests participants to help gather materials and decoratioins and assemble the packages.

Participants are invited to bring hard candies, peanuts, gum, pens, pencils, and small bottles of shampoo and lotion to fill the pockets.

Participants may choose to include other items at their discretion, but should avoid chocolate or things that could potentially melt during shipping.
