Chadron State Theatre Day to host students from 17 high schools

Today is Chadron State’s annual Theatre Day.

Students from 17 high schools will be coming to Chadron State College for this event.

Theatre Day offers workshops taught by students and faculty to the high school students.

Workshop topics cover props, theatre games, stage combat, stage makeup, audition techniques, improvisation, dance techniques, and lighting and sound.

There will also be a preview showing of “The Last Night of Ballyhoo” for the students.

The show opens to the public tonight at 7:30 p.m. Performances run through Sunday.
