Former professor and his wife pledge $1 million to CSC

Dr. Jackson and Peggy Hammitt of Rapid City, S.D., announced a future gift of approximately $1 million for the benefit of the college’s music program Friday.

Jackson Hammitt taught for 34 years at Chadron State and retired in 2001.
