Dear Editor:

I am upset with the misquote in the article printed in The Eagle Oct. 21 covering the Oct. 12 Campus Activities Board meeting.

I was quoted as saying, “You’re bitching at us to follow parliamentary procedure, but you don’t follow it.”

I actually said, “You’re preaching at us to follow parliamentary procedure, but you don’t follow it.”

I would never have used a curse word in a formal meeting like CAB. I was never asked about this quote, but I would have corrected it if I had been. This is sloppy reporting—unfortunately what some have come to expect from The Eagle.

I am very disappointed, and I would greatly appreciate it if you would print a retraction.
