Deadline draws near for club budgets
Attention Club Participants and Advisors,
Once again the end of the academic year is fast approaching. For Clubs this means it is time for you to be thinking about your financial requests for the 2011-2012 academic school year, and your Budget Packet. Budget Hearings will be held:
March 21- 6pm to 8:30pm
March 22- 7pm to 8:30pm
We will once again continue with the Go Green theme to save paper and ask that you submit one signed copy to the appropriate box in the Student Senate Office. Then, e-mail a copy of your packet (unsigned obviously) to [email protected].
The budget packet forms are available on the Senate Finance webpage of Student Senate. To get to them, go to www.csc.edu, click on Students, then Student Senate, and then the Senate Finance Committee tab on the left. The link is http://www.csc.edu/studentsenate/finance.csc.
Earlier, this year, your CAB representative received a letter explaining the changes to the Budget Allocation Process. To assist with these changes we will be available on Tuesday, February 22 at 11am to answer questions, at the Information Desk in the Student Center. Please feel free to bring by questions about the new allocation process, how to fill out a budget packet, or any other questions you may have for us.
As stated earlier, Budget Hearings will be March 21-22. A sign-up sheet will be available approximately February 22. In order to sign up, we must receive both your e-mailed packet and your hardcopy packet. March 1st at noon, is the last day for clubs asking for $5,000 or more to sign up, and March 4th at noon, is the last day that all other clubs can sign up for budget hearings and that we will accept budget packets. Those people that miss the deadline will have to wait for appeals which will be held in the Student Senate Office Tuesday, April 5th at 7 pm.
Even if you will not be requesting money for the 2010-2011 school year, your club still needs to submit a budget packet in order to keep your status as active.
As a reminder, what SFC expects to receive from clubs, and the date it is due:
