An RLA-organized soccer tournament took place Friday at the Nelson Physical Activity Center.

Christine Kambarami, 23, senior of Burma, and Andres Cuesta, 23, senior of Quito, Ecuador, organized the event. The event was organized to give those who like to play soccer a chance to play because “soccer is not a very popular sport in the US,” Kambarami said.

The organizers encouraged all to sign-in and participate.

The organizers also invited Job Corps to compete with CSC students. The participants were divided into six teams with six players. The winners received Wal-Mart gift cards.
