Athletic director welcomes new talent
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome back the returning students and to offer a big CSC Eagle welcome to all of the newcomers.
Chadron State College is a member of the NCAA Division II and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
The RMAC includes colleges and universities in New Mexico, Colorado, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
The conference has a strong history of outstanding athletic programs. The Chadron State College athletic program has produced numerous Athletic and Academic All Americans and our coaching staff places a strong emphasis on academics and character as well as athletic ability.
CSC currently has 11 intercollegiate programs including Football, Women’s Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Wrestling, Women’s Golf, and Women’s Softball.
An exciting opportunity exists when Men’s and Women’s Cross Country will be offered beginning with the 2012-13 academic school year.
The coaching staff encourages any student who has an interest in participating in a sport to contact him or her for a try out and to discuss the requirements of NCAA eligibility and what is required to be a member of an athletic team.
This year we have a challenging athletic home schedule and I encourage all students to show their support of the Eagles and attend all of our athletic contests.
Your support of our teams is appreciated and our athletic teams will provide entertaining activities for the entire campus.
Let’s celebrate the 100 years of CSC and start the fall off with a bang. Best of luck to all of you and if you ever have any questions my office door is always open.

Director of Athletics
