Intramural opportunities take shape at CSC

This upcoming semester will include several intramural sports that are open for any students to join.

Ashley Dent, coordinator of intramural sports, explained some of the intramural sports students might be seeing this semester.

There will be a flag football team and a softball team this semester. They will start shortly after Labor Day weekend and go until Oct. 6.

The athletics department is also planning on starting a three-on-three basketball season during the fall semester.

Finally, CSC’s athletic department hopes to start either a kickball or dodge ball team. Dent explained that whichever they don’t do in the fall semester, students will see in the spring semester.

Anyone can sign up for this semester’s intramural sports. Each requires a small deposit be paid; however, it is refundable, and thus the sport is ultimately free.
