Eagles/UNK game to be broadcast on Nebraska public television

NET, Nebraska’s PBS television station, has announced their plans to televise the Eagle’s Oct. 8 game against UNK at Cope Stadium in Kearney.

According to Alex Helmbrecht, CSC’s sports information director, this is not the first time that the Eagle’s football games have been televised.

The games will be broadcast on NET’s NET1 & NET-HD channels. NET also televised one other NSCS institution–Wayne State­– this season, during a Sept. 1 game against UNK.

A inquiry to NET Sports in regard to their selection process was not answered by press time Wednesday.
