Togas and lasers and music, OH MY!

The last in a series of Homecoming 2011 events celebrating Chadron State College’s centennial concluded late in the night Saturday. Following a special fireworks display at 9 p.m., students gathered in the Student Center ballroom for a toga party.
Students who were unfamiliar with the attire had the opportunity to learn how to tie on the garments with a pre-party toga-tying event.
A mix of laser lights, deejayed sound, and fog provided a modern twist to the traditional elements of a toga party. Light refreshments consisting of Rice Krispies treats and cookies were also served.
