Two Chadron State representatives to speak at academic conference

The conference, “The Making of the Great Plains,” in its 38th year, is hosted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Center for Great Plains Studies.

Conference coordinators invited Kathy Bahr, professor of English and humanities, and Rob Foresman, graduate assistant of social and communication arts, to deliver presentations during the March 28 – 30 conference.

Bahr said that most professors speak at such conferences at least once annually.

This symposium focuses on discussions about the Great Plains.

Bahr’s presentation is based on a paper she wrote “Conquest or Collaborate? Mari Sandoz’s Complex Relationship with the Plains.”
