Former Head Football Coach Bill O’Boyle has been reassigned to administrative work, according to CSC President Janie Park.

O’Boyle, who works from a Sparks Hall basement office, is still working with subject matter relating to athletics, Park said during a Feb. 7 interview with The Eagle.

“It is related to athletics,” Park said regarding the scope of O’Boyle’s work.

Park said O’Boyle would not receive a severance package when his contract expires in June.

“There’s no such thing as that,” Park said regarding the notion of a severance package in the Nebraska State College System.

Although Park declined to comment on O’Boyle’s employment details, she said “He’s free to comment on his own personnel issues.”
