Regional association honors Chadron State applied sciences professor

The Nebraska Association for the Education of Young Children selected CSC Professor Kim Madsen as the recipient of the Distinguished Service to Children Award.

Madsen travelled to Lincoln last weekend to receive the award, which was presented Feb. 18. At CSC, Madsen spearheaded the creation of the Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom, explored non-traditional online learning methods, and serves as the director for Chadron State’s Child Development Center.
