Due to inclement weather conditions, Chadron State College is closing its campus today, according to a Tuesday afternoon release by CSC President Janie Park.
Pam Anderson, secretary to the CSC president, said Tuesday afternoon via telephone that Dining Services and the residence halls would remain open; however, all other buildings will be closed.
The college’s information office reported the following cancellations as of 2:45 p.m. Tuesday:
-

• Black History Month “Power of One” Showing, postponed until further notice
• The Dreams Presentation by Debbie Johnson, postponed until Wednesday, Feb. 29, 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Scottsbluff Room of the Student Center.
According to Chadron’s weather forecast, “light to moderate snow will develop around 3 p.m.”
Classes are schedule to resume Wednesday, though the closure may extend if the weather does not improve.
