Office 365 invades Eaglemail

On Friday, CSC’s IT Department sent an email to all students stating that their EagleMail accounts would soon be upgraded with a new framework–Office 365.

“Office 365 is a set of powerful email, web, and collaboration tools that can help you work faster and gain skills for the workplace,” the email stated.

The IT Department also included a link to a page with more information stating the software allows people to create presentations, collaborate with classmates, and instant message.

Andrew Schmid, webmaster, said Wednesday that the IT Department would not release any additional information on Office 365. He said his department would release more information in the future, and that students would have to wait till then to learn more.
