Faculty union awarding $1,000 in scholarships

Chadron State’s Educational Association, one of three employee unions at the college, is offering $1,000 in student scholarships for the upcoming spring semester.

A faculty committee will award a $500 scholarship to two full-time, undergraduate students who have completed 30 or more hours.

In addition, only students who are working on their first undergraduate degree and have not received a previous CSCEA scholarship are eligible to apply.

Applications are due to the START Office in Crites Hall by Nov. 20, and may be accessed online at http://csceagle.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/CSCEA-Scholaraship-App.pdf or in the START Office.
