Admissions recruiter named interim VP of enrollment
On Monday, CSC President Randy Rhine appointed former contract employee Jon Hansen as the college’s interim vice president for enrollment management and marketing.
Hansen has worked the past two years recruiting for CSC in South Dakota as an independent contractor with the college’s admissions department.
He made $75,000 his first year with CSC and then enjoyed a five percent salary increase during the 2011-12 academic year with a $78,750 salary, Carolyn Murphy, Nebraska State College System vice chancellor for finance and administration, stated in a Tuesday email.
“I do not have his salary for 2013-14 as Interim VP for Enrollment Management,” Murphy stated. “I believe those salaries will be reported to the Board at its June meeting.”
As the position is interim in nature, a formal search will commence at the conclusion of the interim period.
Hansen said Tuesday he wasn’t available for an interview prior to press time Wednesday.
