Comm Arts student commended by NSCS Chancellor

Sam Parker, senior of Harrison, was mentioned during the State of the System Address on September 5, in the Student Center Ballroom.

Parker, a 21-year-old Public Relations major, helped organize the Big Event on April 20, a day of volunteering that spurred 400 CSC students to action. The Big Event provided what System Chancellor Stan Carpenter described as “valuable service to the community.”

“Building those bridges with the community is extremely important for Chadron State College and the Nebraska State College System as well,” Carpenter said, “It’s part of our mission.”
