‘Get the rub’ on justice studies study abroad trip
In 2014, the justice studies department will travel to London for 14 days.
On this trip, students will be able to learn about the legal system of England, which includes visiting police agencies, courts, and prisons.
Students will receive six credit hours in CJ 436 Comparative Criminal Justice or LS 438 Topics in Law, and CJ 446 Cross Cultural Studies/Justice Studies. Participants will partake in guided tours and presentations of the New Scotland Yard; criminal trials in Magistrates Court; the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom; a Legal Walk of London; and visit the Penonville Prison.
For those interested, there will be an informational meeting at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8, in Old Admin 331.
