‘TAP’ dances into Memorial Hall
The second half of the semester will kick off with the upbeat show TAP, the second performance of the 2013-14 Galaxy series.
TAP is written and directed by Scott Seidl, who has spent years researching dance and percussion. TAP shows how the two fit together.
The show explores all different kinds of dance including Irish, African, and Spanish tradition. Along with these, TAP mixes in contemporary dance. Musical selections include everything from flamenco, to Aerosmith.
This second installation in the Galaxy Series will demonstrate the wide array of talent that comes through Chadron; along with TAP, upcoming shows include a piano duet, a classic story made into a musical, and an Emmy-nominated actor.
TAP will appear on Memorial Hall’s Main Stage, 7:00 p.m. October 17. To reserve tickets, call 432-6207, or email [email protected].
