Elliot Field clearing begins Saturday
Grab the shovels, buckets, and snowplows, Elliot Field is packed—with about a foot of snow that is.
Football players, coaches, and community members started working to clear the field for tomorrow’s game against Adams State as early as 7:30 a.m., Saturday.
Working their way across the field, the crew filled large, plastic trashcans to the brink; stacked shovels to their breaking points; and pushed snowplows through the thick snow, in order to complete the long task.

By 2 p.m, Saturday, the crew was still working to remove the snow.
