Music Department organizes fall concerts

The music department is bringing a slew of year-end concerts, both instrumental and vocal, this fall.

Saturday, the wind symphony preformed their first concert of the year. The concert featured the Brass Ensemble, Clarinet Quartet, and the Saxophone Quartet.

The next instrumental concert will be Nov. 15. The Jazz Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center.

The Wind Ensemble will perform along with the Chadron Community Band in Memorial Hall at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 19.

Along with the instrumental concerts, the music department is putting together several vocal concerts for November.

The CSC Concert Choir and the Chadron Community Choir will perform in the Chadron Arts Center at 3 p.m., Nov. 3.

The Mens Ensemble and Arioso, the women’s chorus, will also perform in the Chadron Arts Center at 3 p.m., Nov. 10.
