Sandoz Center welcomes new exhibit

The Sandoz Center is currently displaying The Western Heritage Center’s exhibit “Coming Home: The Northern Cheyenne Odyssey.”

This exhibit was created as part of the Western Heritage Center’s American Indian Tribal Histories Project. It presents a Northern Cheyenne view on the Fort Robinson outbreak of 1879 and the efforts of the Northern Cheyenne to return to their homeland in Mont. The story is displayed through panels, artifacts, and interactive kiosks.

The exhibit is the second Sandoz Center exhibit this semester. It will run through Dec. 20.

The exhibit is free, and students are encouraged to visit.
