Derek Phelps, 21, junior of Sidney
Character: Boy
Biggest challenge: Learning. My character has to learn a lot of life lessons.
Favorite scene: The Chasing scene. It’s a moment of comic break. It’s like the Scooby-Doo hallway scene.
What is the play about: A younger couple gets visited by an older couple and is forced to learn life lessons of pain and chaos.
Willis Miller, 25, senior of Deer Trial, Colo.
Character: Man
Biggest challenge: My character can never let on to what he’s actually doing. There’s a lot of manipulation.
Favorite scene: My first monolouge. It lays the ground work about what my character is all about.
What is the play about: Listening for an understanding. There is lack of listening in our generation.
