Advising month assists with withdrawls, registration

With February being advising month many students are likely wondering about withdraw deadlines and registering for future semesters. “February is advising month meet with your academic advisor, check eaglemail for more information. Registration is open for current students for summer 2014, fall 2014 and spring 2015,” Start Academic Adviser, Danielle Hencey said.

“February 12 is the last day to withdraw from a first eight week course. The last day to withdraw from a full semester course is April 4,” Hencey said.  However, some students might not know what it means to withdraw from a class.

“Withdraw means a grade of W; there is no refund and the course will be considered a repeat if taken in the future and the start office needs to take care of those requests,” Hencey said.
