International students cooking up food, entertainment for food tasting party

Saturday is the International Food Tasting Party in the Student Center Ballroom. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the party begins at 6 p.m.

The International Food Tasting will include recipes from Ethiopia, Togo, Russia, Japan, America, Jamaica, Vietnam, China, Mali, Germany, France, and Brazil. It will also include entertainment from the United States, and highlights of Hawaii, Ethiopia, China, Togo, Japan, Russia and Singapore.

Tickets are required for attendance, cost $7 for students; $12 for adults; $10 for seniors, and children seven and under eat for free. Tickets can be bought from the International Club members or by emailing Michele Rikenbach, records assistant registrar, at [email protected].

“We have a lot of new recipes and this year we have more American students,” Rikenbach said.
