The Mr. and Mrs. CSC Pageant is a mock pageant that is open to CSC students. The theme of this year’s pageant centers on the Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie comedic action film about spies called “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” Nine males and females will contend in this year’s pageant. Each contestant will compete in three events: talent, swimwear, and evening wear.

Mrs. CSC 2013, Jessica Jester, graduate student of Cheyenne, Wyo., wore a wet suit for swimwear in last year’s competition. Mr. CSC 2013, Zach Sandstrom, senior of Chadron, showed off his extremely slow cup stacking as his talent. Some contestants in last year showed off their different talents such as building a sandwich, performing music and dance pieces, and showing self-defense moves.

The judges of the pageant are Miss CSC Rodeo Queen, Bailey McLean, freshman of Sheridan, Wyo.; Miss Ogallala Round Up Rodeo Queen 2014, sole returning judge, Laramie Schlichtemeier, sophomore of Ogallala; CSC’s The Voice winner, Frederick Culp, junior of Mililani, Hawaii; and Mr. and Mrs. CSC 2013 People’s Choice, Kirby Krogman, junior of White River, S.D.

The first place winners will receive iPad Mini’s, while smaller prizes will be awarded to second and third place. All contestants will receive a t-shirt for their participation.
