Senate prepares for re-elections

Senate begins organization for re-elections. Petitions for re-election are due March 31 and require 10 signatures for election. Senate applications can be found on the Student Senate CSC webpage.

Chief of Justice Jon Lordino discussed the addition of a fire pit to the pending student commons area between Kent Hall and the Math and Science Building. A budget will be determined after the design is established. The fire pit would be functioning by the fall term.

President Jacob Rissler announced that the Executive Board had concerns in relation to Senate member behavioral conduct. Rissler gave a “friendly reminder” that Senators not only represent the Senate but also themselves as an individual and professional.

Vice President of Finance Kirby Krogman reported $122,981.87 in unallocated funds.

Club Fair is at 6 p.m., Wednesday in the Student Center.

    Who edited this? It doesn’t even make sense. The lead is awful and jagged.

    I know the student government refuse to talk to you, but why are they wasting money on a fire pit? Is that all they learned in New Orleans?

    What the heck is “behavioral conduct,” and why is friendly reminder in quotes?

    And what’s this I hear about the elections being by email?
