CAB closes nominations for executive positions

To start off Tuesday’s Campus Activities Board meeting, Sean Munger, Nearly Naked Mile event coordinator, spoke to remind clubs that if they are willing to donate what money they have left over in their budget toward the mile, it would be greatly appreciated.

Nominations for CAB Chair are Kelsey Empfield, Stephanie Steele, and Ana Smiley. Vice Chair of Programing are Andy Martin, Kelley McNabb, and Abby Lane. Vice Chair of Finance are Brendan Mead, Sara Donnelly, and Stephanie Steele. Finally, Vice Chair of Records are Molly O’Connell and Sara Donnelly. The new officers will be voted for at the April 29 meeting.

Volunteers are needed to help out with the Easter Egg Hunt that is being put on by the Chamber of Commerce.  This event takes place on Easter Sunday. Interested parties are to talk to Shellie Johns, coordinator of conferencing, in the Student Center.

Tomorrow the event, ‘Sexual Assault: There is No Excuse!’ is taking place from 7-8:30 p.m., in one of the rooms located at the East end of The Pit.  Two speakers from The Doves Program will be present to discuss sexual assault, how to prevent it, and the consequences it brings.  Snack, drinks, and T-shirts will also be available.
