History students present at Laramie
Last weekend the History 465: Processes in North American West class travelled to Laramie, Wyo., for a conference sponsored by Phi Alpha Pheta and the UW History Club.
Friday evening, the group of six students and instructor David Nesheim, went to a supper where they listened to a keynote speaker talk about Rock Springs and the Chinese Miners.
Saturday morning, they spent the day listening to students present their papers, including CSC student Robert Nickels, senior of Lincoln, who spoke about Frank Estair.
After those presentations, CSC students NaKaya Fester, senior of Hemingford; Kayla Colfack, junior of Butte; Russel Zephier, senior of Chadron; Misty Dickey, sophomore of Worland; and Jacob VanGundy, senior of Hot Springs, S.D., had a round table discussion on the History Harvest that took place March 29.
